Aviation Maintenance Technology
Meet Marcus Martins, a student at Cape Cod Community College and the president of the International Aviation Fraternity, Alpha Eta Rho. He's a wiz at fixing planes and is currently enrolled in the school's Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) program, which he describes as the "best of both worlds" - it's affordable and packs a punch with the variety and speed of the subjects covered.
When Marcus first heard about the AMT program, he knew it was the perfect fit for him. And it seems like fate was on his side, because with the help of 4Cs, he landed a job at Cape Air even before he graduated. He's loving the experience so far and plans to stick around after he graduates.
As the leader of Alpha Eta Rho, Marcus is always coming up with new and exciting ways to get his fraternity members involved in the aviation community. From trips to aviation-related sites to fundraisers and community service events, there's never a dull moment.
When asked for advice for those considering the AMT program, Marcus says, "Don't be afraid to put in the effort! It's not a hard program, but you'll need to put in some elbow grease to succeed. And don't worry if you get stuck, the faculty are always willing to help." So, if you're ready to soar to new heights, join Marcus and the AMT program at Cape Cod Community College!
